Kesher - Second Semester Information

The second semester officially begins on Tuesday, February 8. Drop-Off Teens will be dropped off outside Beth El at the Education Center entrance. When you pull in, you’ll want to proceed into the driveway loop outside the entrance. Staff will be stationed outside this entrance and help direct teens towards their first period classes. Pick-Up Similar to TBS, we ask that during pick-up you find a parking spot in the main parking lot area located in the front of the building. Please coordinate with your teen(s) on where you’ll be located so they can easily find you once dismissed at 8:30. We kindly ask that you do not use that front driveway access road for pick-up. As always, please use caution when in the parking lot. Early Pick-Up Should you need to pick up early, you will need to call the Beth El office at 856-675-1166. Please inform the office you are there to pick up your teen early. We will then get your teen(s) outside. We encourage you call a few minutes prior to arriving. In an effort to limit phone usage during class time, we ask that you please do not text your teen during Kesher hours. We also encourage you let us know in advance (via email or Remind text) that you plan to pick up early. Should you need to pick up early, we strongly encourage you do so during a transition time of classes. The schedule for the evening can be found below. Face Coverings As has been our policy throughout the course of the year, face coverings are required at all times except when eating/drinking. Masks must be worn properly over the nose and mouth and be one of the following:

  • Surgical masks with at least 3 layers (like most disposable face masks)

  • KN95 masks

  • KF94 masks

  • N95 masks

*Cloth/fabric masks are not permitted for adults although you may wear them over any of the above approved masks. If you arrive to Beth El without an approved mask, we will provide you with a surgical mask.

Cloth/fabric masks are permitted for children. We are allowing children to wear properly fitted cloth masks that cover both the nose and mouth, but the preference is for child sized 3-layer surgical masks, KN95 masks or KF94 masks.

Dinner Dinner will resume this Tuesday night. This Tuesday, we have a pizza dinner scheduled. For an up to date meal calendar, please visit www.keshersnj.org/mealcalendar.
